As they neared the Cydnus World Council headquarters, Zarya pushed the throttle down, and the speeder rocketed forward at a neck-snapping pace. Aaron reminded her, “Take it easy, girl. Remember whose speeder this is.” “I know, Dad. I prefer the newer models,” Zarya retorted, a hint of irritation seeping into her voice. Aaron’s concern intensified as he once again reminded her of the threat posed by Sentinel bots.
Approaching the underground speedway, the dashboard emitted a warning beep. “Prepare for incoming remote protocol,” the computer announced. Zarya decelerated the speeder, and suddenly the throttle locked, the controls commandeered remotely.
