Another year is coming to an end. Do you also feel like celebrating the old and the new properly? For our part: We are absolutely in the mood for a big event! That’s the reason why, for the second time, we are presenting our four days Soul-, Funk- and Jazz Party around New Year’s Eve. With the SMOOTH JAZZ FESTIVAL we bring as usual absolute top names, as well as outstanding young guns of the international Smooth Jazz Scene to Augsburg. Three festival evenings we celebrate in the stunning and evocative atmosphere of the Parktheater at Kurhaus Göggingen. The program includes two live concerts and an after-show party per day. The fantastic highlight at the Parktheater is the big New Year’s Eve show with a year-end countdown on stage and subsequent Allstar Jam.
Our partner location this year is again the “Dorint Hotel” at Wittelsbacher Park, which provides shuttle busses to the Parktheater on all festival evenings. The hotel itself does not only host the New Year’s Concert feat. singer Lindsey Webster and saxophonist Elan Trotman, which ends the festival smoothly, but also the gala dinner before the New Year’s Eve show. Together with the Dorint Team we have newly conceived the dinner. Be surprised!

The SMOOTH JAZZ FESTIVAL AUGSBURG in the Park Theater at Kurhaus Göggingen (Augsburg, Germany) goes to the next round and offers the perfect opportunity for it. Visitors from all over Europe get dressed up and meet here in a sophisticated club atmosphere to an impressive, unstressed weekend with a total of six international live performances and hilarious aftershow parties in the the beautiful ambiance of the Kurhaus.
The 4-star superior hotel Steigenberger Drei Mohren at Augsburg’s boulevard, the Maximilian Street, has an unique 500-year history and is the official artists hotel of the festival. For all festival guests a room contingent is reserved to a special price.
